Share ko lang

My friend Tanya suddenly turned crazy. But as her bestfriend Kim (on his defense strategy) intends to tell off everyone in regale manner: 'She's got plans, so should you'-- myself, Becky, Kang and Mojari are all happy for her. Walang kokontra.

the video, by the way--eherm, is made by the one and only jameson magbanua. ahaha.

Awan ka kausap

My cousin Kooting is on the prowl for a prom date. Not that she's desperate--lets just say she's 'too young' to have an instant (aka buyprend) date anyway (chenes!). Well, she's actually found one (a date, that is) only recently, and will--I fear enter the unknown, uncharted territory of 'semi dating', with all the St Scho nuns looking in, bright in the afternoon with all their gymnasium house-lights ON. Wow, diba? :) The guy, apparently looks a bit like her (harhar)--very maputla (fair skinned--to make it sound more positive), average height--he's okay. Lets just wait for the moment he decides to talk. That IS, if he decides to. You see, this fine boy (he's studying fine arts and an 'Iskolar nang Bayan') is not really much of a talker. Really. Im serious.
So here are some helpful tips Im giving Kooting in getting along with a 'non-talker':
1. Have breath mints handy. Use them, and by the time prom's over, you can be crowned 'Ms Freshest Breath'
2. Rubik's Cube, anyone? Sudoku?
3. Start breaking the ice by asking questions like: a)Whoa! What do we have here? b)Anung oras na? c) So, gutom ka na? d)what's you're favorite color? e) maganda ba ako?(kindat kindat)
4. Bring a sock puppet.
Jameson, once again, encounters the lurking sock puppet: 'omfg! omfg!'

En, emback!

Im trying my hands on setting up my own website, dyowsa.com. Still working on it, deym. Wala lang, kinakati na akong mag blog eh. :)

Will post updates asap, pwamis.

Freudian Slips

Two weeks ago, an episode of 'Tinay in LahlahLand' saw us charting Clarke Quay on a Thursday night. We had Bah Ku Teh (just across Central)for dinner, and while none of us really wanted to check out the bars, the 'Ate' in me fancied to show my sister around. Then again there's Jay--who just wants to show off his firm's so-called 'iconic achievement' in Singapore, the 'Angels' and lilipods gracing the night scene at Clarke Quay. After a walk along the river and several reverse bungee jumping sightings (which in no way are you making me hop on one), we entered this magical place of the drunk, merriment and urm...Freudian glory. 'ayaw mo maniwala?

EXHIBIT A & B

These rather phallic looking 'blowers' are supposedly eco friendly: they act both as exhaust and air cooler. Not bad for a big, shiny, colour-changing thing, huh? Just dont stand too close, or stare intently while it tries to 'blow' you. eep!

Flashback Serye 1: Geddaym that Gundam

I would like to have this experience documented for two reasons:
1. Im proving the goody two shoes in me that Im not that er--goody. :)  (I guess I havent told you THAT story-- specifically related to my poor cutting classes skills back in college and my "3.0?? i'll so kill myself" stance against--um, good grades, but thats another story)
2. My kumare 'mommyontop' will be due with my inaanak 'Crisostomo Kiko' two months from now (yes, she gave me the opportunity to christen her second 'tite' (context. please!) in accordance to the 'CK initials' rule she and Mr Frost has, in naming their brood), so in... say--sixteen years from now, he reads this blog entry while in the brink of identity crisis, he'll get it that his 'Ninang' is juvenile and cool--well, in some way. ( ah gee--now I have to make this pathetic story as tall as possible!)

Anyway--this picture was taken last year, late November. Takashimaya Ngee Ann City has this competition to erm--dress up 'yer Gundam. I recalled a recent chat with Mrs Frost regarding Mr Frost and Gundams, so I tried taking pictures. Apparently, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO. After a warning from the attendant, it still felt as if I need to take this shot. And I did. Right under his nose, as I pretended to fiddle with my phone. Hah! (oh syet...nde sya ganon ka exciting). Lemme bury this with other blog entries soon. hehe.

So Cristomo Kiko--oo, ang Ninang mong may PhD at Diplomat some more (oh come on...thats 16 years from now--pwede, diba?) ay rule breaker (in her own small, pathetic ways).
